The
assembly theme for Class II – ‘Shakuntala Devi – The Indian Calculating Prodigy’ also known
as ‘Human Computer’ was conducted during 4.11.13 – 7.11.13.
On the first day there was a brief
introduction of Mrs.Shakuntala Devi’s childhood and early life.
On the second day, we had a brief description
about her awards and achievements. On the third day a skit was performed on how
Shakuntala Devi has earned a place in the Guinness Book of World records. On
the final day we conducted a quiz on Shakuntala Devi’s biography.
The assembly presentation was very
informative and all the students participated with a lot of enthusiasm and
interest.
