The
assembly theme for Class II - ‘Kalpana
Chawla – The First Indian woman to go into the space’ was conducted during
5.8.13 – 8.8.13.
On
the first day there was a brief introduction of Kalpana Chawla.
On
the second day, we had a brief description of
NASA’s Career. On the third day we showed a PowerPoint presentation on
her early life, education, and migration to USA, entering NASA etc.
On
the final day we conducted a quiz on Kalpana Chawla’s biography.
The
assembly presentation was very informative and all
the students participated with a lot of enthusiasm and interest.
