Printmaking allows kids to try out lots of different techniques and to
see cause and effect in action more dramatically than with simply painting or
drawing .Using fruits and vegetables to make creative and interesting images on
paper brought excitement in students.
Seeing the interest of students, Orchids – The International School
conducted vegetable printing competition on 12.10.12 for classes I-V. Children made stamps or moulds using
vegetables like potato, carrot, turnip, lady’s finger etc. and used different
colours to make their interesting figures.
This competition brought forth creativity and inherent talents of
students.
