The students and teachers of Orchids –The International School have come out with an innovative idea of growing medicinal herbs in the school camps to teach the students the importance of herbs. The students of classes 4 to 6 participated in the planting of medicinal herbs on 16th Dec. Mr.Ramana Rao a Rtd.Mechanical engineer started growing medicinal plants as his hobby.
‘Health is wealth’ is a common saying, but most of us take health for granted. We lead our lives as if nothing will go wrong with our bodies. And then one day the body crashes under all the pressure.

If one takes herbs with the right kind of supervision, the medicinal property of herbs provides multiple benefits to the human body. A vast majority of people are shifting to a natural way of living. They are consuming herbs in the form of herbal tea, herbal cosmetics, herbal spices and ingredients in cooking, herbal oil, etc. The fact is that even if it is for medicinal use, there are innovative ways of using herbs in one’s day to day life.
